Angular dependent effect on solid state personal dosemeter
Description
Angular depended effect on solid state personal dosemeter. Angular dependent effect of solid state personal dosemeter mydose mini CdS (made by Aloka)and TLD UD-802P CaSO4 : Tm (made by Chiyoda) have been done. Response of both type of dosemeters toward radiation depends on angle of radiation direction. Highest responses of the dosemeters are achieved at angle of Oo. Their responses decrease by increasing angle. Nevertheless, for radiation protection purposes both dosemeters are suffiently good. Decrease is response toward radiation was only 4% for mydose mini CdS and 2% for TLD UD-802P CaSO4 : Tm when the range the angle exposure is between -300 to + 300. (author). 6 refs., 3 figs
