Spatio-temporal analysis of radioecological situation and management of radioecological monitoring in post accident Chernobyl situation

The paper presents results of spatial-temporal analysis of radioecological situation (products level contamination and density of soil pollution) from 1996 to 2000 on the agricultural territories of Ukrainian Polissya. Generalisation of monitoring data on the different aggregated levels was carried out. Is shown, that the stable reduction of product levels contamination by 137Cs is observed. The quantity of the decrease depends from amount of countermeasures implementation. The fixed input for countermeasures implementation in Zhitomir region result in spatial homogeneity of products level contamination. The results of the statistical and spatial analysis of the product contamination levels have allowed to elaborate the schedule of the products monitoring, which includes definition of monitoring territory, objects of supervision, the control parameters, periodicity and frequency of the product control. The critical territories for implementation of countermeasures and projection of measures for reduction of product level contamination are offered with usage of multi-objective estimation methodology.
