Desorption of variously introduced helium out of LiF crystals

Description
A study was made on regularities of 3He and 4He desorption out of LiF crystals, introduced by the following methods: diffusion, plastic deformation and irradiation by helium ions. It is shown that helium desorption spectra are of different character and depend on the method of helium introduction. Helium traps with the lowest temperatures are revealed during isothermal and dynamic annealing of LiF crystals, when helium introducing by the method of plastic deformation (temperature range of its desorption 320-620K). The next ones are the methods of diffusion (320-1120K) and irradiation (750-970K). Spectra of helium desorption can be used to consider the mechanism of its penetration into LiF crystals
