Formation of diacetylthiocarbanide cadmium chromate
Description
The literature lacks data on complexes of Cd(II) with acetylthiocarbamide CH3CO.NH.CS.NH2(AcTM), a compound which is potentially able to form bonds with metal ions. During the investigation of the complexing reaction in the system Cd(NO3)2-AcTM-K2CrO4-H2O the formation of very characteristic crystalline deposit of the new compound was determined. This paper gives parameters of the synthesis, composition, properties and structure of this compound. (author)
