Description
The authors present results which clearly demonstrate the advantages accruing from the application of pulsed heavy ion induced reactions to the study of quadrupole interactions. Comparison of the results with previous data obtained from light ion work reveal general agreement in the results for quadrupole interaction constants and for the temperature dependence of the quadrupole interactions, The results for GeBi together with previous NMR work on As, Sb and Bi offer new opportunities for theoretical effort to understand the implications of the Tsup(3/2) dependence of the EFG in semimetals.
