On the feasibility of top search at LHC+LEP
Description
The top production in e-p collisions via the neutral current process ep→etantitX is studied in the energy range of the proposed e-p option of the LHC+LEP. It is shown that the CC production in dominant in the interesting range of m1. The processes contributing to the background are analysed and cuts are proposed which lead to a reasonable signal to background ratio. (Author)
