Radiological environment impact of the uranium mining and processing in Caetite, Brazil
- 1. Industrias Nucleares do Brasil, Resende, RJ (Brazil)
Description
This work presents the studies on radiologic environmental impact of the uranium mining and processing at Caetite. The annual effective doses of the critical group individuals are presented. The impact calculus methodology, through atmosphere and liquid effluents, during the installation operation are also briefly presented. The impact study via underground way including the period posterior to end of the installation activities is not considered. The obtained results proves that the effective doses of the critical groups individuals are less than the limit value established by the pertinent regulations
