Description

The mechanism of the spin-galvanic effect whereby the current generation occurs due to the difference in the velocity of spontaneous radiative transitions of the charge carriers with the oppositely directed spins. The above asymmetry originates under the conditions of the spatially homogeneous nonequilibrium spin orientation of the thermalized electrons (holes), which may by accomplished by any of the known ways. It is shown that the given mechanism may be applied both for the generation and detection of the spin-polarized charge carriers
