The magnetic field and rotation period of the Ap star HD4778

Description

Three years of photoelectric magnetic field measurements of the Ap star HD4778 have been obtained. The magnetic field of the star varies from + 1400 G to - 1100 G, and when the field variations are combined with previously published photometric and spectroscopic data, a unique rotation period of 2d. 5616 is found
