Case report 552: Post-traumatic remodelling of the distal tibia epiphysis: A form of aseptic osteonecrosis

The present case is of interest in that at a skeletal site rather rarely affected by non-fracture pathological remodelling, a possible mechanism is suggested for the development of aseptic osteonecrosis. This mechanism may be cited, at least in part, in classical cases of aseptic osteonecrosis whether post-traumatic or not. (orig.)
