Microfilters have been prepared by etching Makrofol-N irradiated with xenon ions 54129Xe. The microfilters thus prepared have been successfully employed to separate Saccharomyces cerevisiae (yeast cells) and Aspergillus nidulans (fungus spores). (author). 5 refs
