Description
We have measured energy distribution and angular distribution of fast protons passing through an ethanol liquid jet target. By applying the Moliere's theory for multiple scattering, we reproduced successfully our experimental results of energy and angular distributions. In addition, we compared the stopping power obtained from our experiment with SRIM2003 and found that the discrepancy of stopping power between present results and SRIM2003 reached about 17%.
