Method of processing off-gases in radioactive liquid wastes processing plants

Description

Purpose: To condensate or steams in off-gases both in a separation device and a condenser thereby efficiently removing materials formed in the off-gases. Method: When off-gases discharged from a melter or the like are fed into a separation device and cooled to lower than 40 deg C, steams contained in the off-gases are condensated. In this case, nuclear fission products contained in the off-gases are separated being dissolved in water droplets of the concentrates. Then, steams are additionally supplied to the off-gases discharged from the separation device, supplied to the condenser and cooled to condensate steams contained therein. Then, the nuclear fission products are further dissolved and mixed in the concentrates. (Yoshino, Y.)
