Transformation of beams with a finite emittance by some electron-optical elements
Description
The expressions for envelopes of charged particle beams are found and the conditions of cross-over formation at oblique beam entering into the sector magnet with a homogeneous field are studied. The conditions of cross-over transformation into a cross-over in the sector magnet with a direct input and in quadrupole lenses are investigated
