District heat from the Beznau nuclear power plant - the first extension phase for Refuna now in operation
Description
Eleven months after the first orders for equipment for decoupling heat from the Beznau Nuclear Power Plant of the North East Swiss Power Company, the supply of district heat to two Federal Institutions, EIR in Wuerenlingen and SIN in Villingen, was commended on November, 15sup(th), 1983. Thus the first major stage in the construction of a regional district heating network in the lower Aare valley (Refuna) is complete. During the course of further extension additional communities and large consumers will be supplied with heat from Beznau. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Elf Monate nach der Bestellung der ersten Anlage fuer die Waermeauskopplung im Kernkraftwerk Beznau der Nordostschweizerischen Kraftwerke (NOK) konnte am 15. November 1983 die Fernwaermeversorgung fuer die beiden Bundesinstitute EIR in Wuerenlingen und SIN in Villingen in Betrieb genommen werden. Das erste wichtige Ziel fuer den Bau des Regionalen Fernwaermenetzes Unteres Aaretal (Refuna) ist erreicht. Im folgenden Vollausbau werden mehrere Gemeinden und Grossverbraucher aus Beznau beziehen.
