Iodine-labelled radioligands in radioimmunoassay of steroids

Description

The procedures of labelling different types of haptenes with radioactive iodine are described. Consideration is given to the choice of suitable antisera and 125I-radioligands in various homologous and heterologous combinations for radioimmunoassay. In addition to binding radioligand-antiserum interactions, factors are discussed that influence antibody specificity. (author)
