Description
The use of the Cathetron afterloading radiotherapy device combined with external teletherapy is described for 51 patients with cervical carcinoma. The preliminary results suggest that the early tumour responses are comparable with those obtained by conventional low dose-rate therapy and the complications, perhaps less frequent. (U.K.)
