Description

The distribution of alloying additions (Ni, Fe) and microadditions (Zn, Co) in molybdenum samples has been investigated by using instrumental neutron activation analysis. Gamma spectra have been measured by the semiconducting Ge(Li) detector with 80 cm3 volume and 5.1 keV resolution on the 1332 keV 60Co line and by the 4096-canal amplitude analyser. The %-recognition threshold for Fe, Ni, Zn, Co is 6x10-4, 1x10-4, 3x10-5, 1x10-6 respectively. The error of determination of alloying additions is 10%, and of microadditions - 25%
