Comparison the efficiency of AFCF and clinoptilolit obtained through single Cs 137 contamination of pheasants

Description
In practice are show effect of comparison efficiency AFCF and clinoptilolite obtained trough single 137Cs contamination of pheasants. As experimental animals we used pheasants from the species pheasant colchicus. The total number of 2 months old pheasants, was 20. The pheasants were divided into 4 groups with 5 birds each. Every animal was simultaneously given water solution of 137Cs (750 Bq) and radioprotector AFCF and clinoptilolite in water solution and mixed in pheasant food in the form of pellet. The level of contamination was determined by gamma - spectrometry in light meat, dark meat, liver and gizzard. The results show that the best protection effect was obtained by using AFCF than use radioprotector clinoptilolite. (author)
Abstract (Serbian)
U radu su prikazani rezultati uporednog ispitivanja efikasnosti amonijum - gvozdje (III) heksacijanoferata (II) - AFCF i klinoptilolita posle jednokratne alimentarne kontaminacije divljaci 137Cs. Kao eksperimentalne zivotinje koristili smo fazane iz reda Phasianus colchicus. Ukupan broj fazana u eksperimentu bio je 20. Fazanke su bile podeljene u cetiri grupe sa po pet ptica. Svi fazani dobijali su istovremeno vodeni rastvor sa 750 Bq 137Cs i radioprotektore AFCF i klinoptilolit u obliku vodenog rastvora i umesane u hrani u obliku peleta. Nivo kontaminacije odredjen je gama spektrometrijski u svetlom mesu, tamnom mesu, jetri i misicnom zeludcu. Bolji efekat zastite postignut je primenom AFCF u odnosu na radioprotektor klinoptilolit.Files
