Description
This paper reports that recently the interest for the production of the very soft photons in hadronic processes has been renewed. The results of the analysis of the new data taken by the Helios collaboration at CERN in pA collisions at 450 GeV show excess of produced soft photons (pT < 100 MeV/c) over known theoretical sources. It is already second significant discrepancy of experiment with theory in this region, because the first indication of problems came from the results on K+ π scattering at 70 GeV/c by Chliapnikov et. al. in 1984. On the other hand results from π+ p interactions at 10.5 GeV/c by Goshaw et. al. in 1979 were consistent with the predictions of hadron bremsstrahlung
