DUMAND status report
Description
DUMAND is a project to build a large deep underwater laboratory for the study of high energy neutrinos from extrasolar sources. The stage 11 array -consisting of 216 optical modules covering an effective area of about 20 000 m2 for neutrinos with energies above 500 GeV/c - is under construction. The fibre optic cable for data transmission has been deployed successfully. A report on the present status of the experiment is given. (orig.)
