Description
The authors probe projectile breakup processes by studying the emission of light charged particles in double and triple coincidence with projectile-like fragments using the forward array of the MSU 4π array. They studied the collisions of 35 and 50 MeV/nucleon 16O with natNi. With the use of Monte Carlo simulations of the breakup process, they are able to quantify various channels which contribute to the observance of projectile-like fragments
