The role of fast reactors in the growth of nuclear power generation in India
Description
India's growing energy needs can be met primarily by coal and nuclear power. The country's limited uranium and abundant thorium resources call for a three-stage nuclear energy program. The FBR forms the second stage of the program. This paper describes the relevance and growth of the FBR program in India. (author)
