The reaction K-p→Λπ0 zeroes and partial waves from 0.4 to 2.5GeV/c

Description

The technique of Barrelet zeroes has been applied to perform a phase shift analysis of the reaction K-p→Λπ0 using most of the bubble chamber data between 1540 and 2540MeV c.m. energy. With a minimum of assumptions, i.e. the existence of the resonances Σ(1765) and Σ(2030), a number of spurious resonances has been eliminated and resonant states D5(2260) G9(2210) have been confirmed

Abstract (French)

Une analyse en dephasage de la reaction K-p→Λπ0 entre 1540 et 2450MeV dans le centre de masse a ete faite. Cette analyse fait appel aux zeros des amplitudes de transversite. Avec un numbre d'hypotheses minimum i.e. l'existence des deux resonances d'isospin 1 Σ(1765), Σ(2030), on a pu eliminer un certain nombre de resonances douteuses et confirmer deux etats resonnants recemment mis en evidence: le D5(2260) et le G9(2210)
