Description

A systematic study of angle-integrated cross sections for electron scattering from neutral oxygen is presented. The calculations cover ionization, elastic scattering and excitation of the first 21 states of oxygen with configurations 2s12p4 and 2s22p1nl (n=3-5, l=0-3). The sensitivity of the results is checked by comparing data obtained in different approximations, including a large-scale model with over 1100 continuum pseudostates. (paper)
