The thermal protection system described is for a liquid metal cooled nuclear reactor structure. This structure includes a wall having at its upper end a free edge forming a flow-shoot lip, a space extending vertically over which a derived flow of liquid passes in the ascending direction, taken from a main volume of this liquid in which the bottom of the wall plunges

Abstract (French)

On decrit un dispositif de protection thermique d'une structure de reacteur nucleaire refroidi par un metal liquide. Cette structure comporte une paroi presentant a son extremite superieure un bord libre formant seuil de deversoir, un espace s'etendant verticalement et parcouru selon le sens ascendant par un debit derive de metal liquide preleve a partir d'un volume principal de ce metal liquide dans lequel plonge la partie inferieure de la paroi
