Twenty years of nuclear energy in the Federal Republic

Description
In 1957, German industry turned its attention to the use of nuclear energy on a large scale. In their advisory function the heads of R and D in large German companies and some university professors created the basis for the first German nuclear program. A review of all the atomic power stations that have been erected or projected in West Germany is appended to this report. (orig.)

1957 begann die deutsche Industrie, sich mit der grosstechnische Anwendung der Kernenergie zu beschaeftigen. Die Entwicklungschefs grosser deutscher Firmen und einige Universitaetsprofessoren schufen durch ihre Beratungsergebnisse die Basis fuer das erste deutsche Atomprogramm. Dem Bericht ist eine Uebersicht aller Kraftwerke (gebaut und geplant) in der Bundesrepublik angegliedert. (orig.)Additional details
