Examination of the lung function in children with chronic non-specific respiratory system diseases (CNSRD) by radionuclide methods

sup(99m)Tc perfusion scintigraphy of the lung as well as bronchoscopy/bronchography were performed in 338 children suffering from CNSRD. In comparing the results both the methods were in good correlation. Thus perfusion scintigraphy can be recommended as screening method in CNSRD. Endoscopic examination is indicated in pathologic findings only
