Angular momentum transport coefficients and angular momentum dissipation in DIC
Description
A 4-dimensional diffusion tensor D in the Fokker--Planck equation which governs the angular momentum distribution of both fragments in deep-inelastic collisions is calculated by using the method of spectral distributions in a single-particle picture. The nondiagonal terms are negative, and their magnitudes are comparable with those of diagonal ones. D is used to calculate the dissipated angular momenta in the 86Kr+154Sm reaction at two different bombarding energies, and the data are well reproduced
