13C-breath test: a practical diagnostic stool in gastroenterology

Description
As a stable isotope, 13C-breath test provide a non-invasive method to quantitatively assess organ functions. It is relatively simple to take 13C-breath test, which have good sensitivity and specificity. This review is aimed at providing advance in research of 13C-breath test and looking into the future of the art. (authors)
