Description

The IR and Raman spectra of the Pd(2), Pt(2), Zn(2), Cd(2), Hg(2), Mn(2) complexes with dithiocarbazic acid have been discussed. Band assignments have been made on the basis of the metal-isotope substitution (64Zn-68Zn) and N-deuteration data. It was concluded that all complexes are N,S-coordinated; Pd(2) and Pt(2) compounds are of trans squareplanar structure, while Zn(2), Cd(2), Hg(2) and Mn(2) complexes are of a pseudotetrahedral structure.
