Complexing of Eu(fod)3 in basic and excited states with acetophenone

Description

Complexing of acetophenone (1) with Eu(fod)3 chelate in basic state was investigated by the method of chemiluminescence and in excited state-by the method of kinetic luminescent spectroscopy. Stability constants and thermodynamic parameters of complexing were determined. Increase of stability of [Eu(3)*.1] complex in excited state in explained by increase of Eu(fod)3 acceptor ability under excitation. The obtained results testify to the influence of f-shell of Eu(3) chelate complexes on formation of coordination bond with acetophenone under excitation of f-f-transitions of Eu(fod)3. 9 refs., 3 figs., 2 tabs
