Radioanalytical simultaneous determination of sodium, potassium, rubidium and cesium

  • 1. Moskovskij Khimiko-Tekhnologicheskij Inst. (USSR)

Description

Two radioisotopic methods of full analysis of mixtures of four alkali elements (Na, K, Rb, Cs) when Msub(Na)+Msub(K)>>Msub(Rb)>>Msub(Cs), are developed. In the proposed methods only one radioisotope (137Cs or 86Rb) is used. According to the first method Na, K, Rb and Cs mixtures are analyzed with preliminary partial separation of the alkali elements by ion exchange chromatography. According to the second method Na, K, Rb and Cs mixtures are analyzed using substoichiometric concentration
