Description

Silicon solar cells fabricated for Solar Cell Arrangement of Instituto de Pesquisas Espaciais - INPE, were irradiated with electrons of 1 MeV and fluences of 5.7 x 1013 cm-2, 5.7 x 1014 cm-2 and 5.7 x 1015 cm-2. The effect of irradiation on these cells is discussed by experimental data obtained in terms of changes in short circuit current, open circuit voltage and diffusion length of minority carriers of the region of cell base.
