Association of renal angiomyolipoma and renal cell carcinoma

Description

A case with renal angiomyolipoma and renal cell carcinoma in the same kidney was diagnosed by ultrasound, computed tomography and angiography before surgery. A few reported earlier cases with this association were not diagnosed before surgery. The images of the two masses in the present case enabled preoperative differential diagnosis. (orig.)
