Geodesy work for the operation and maintenance of nuclear power plants
Description
Geodesy work performed at the Dukovany nuclear power plant during its construction and start-up is described. Subsidence is measured in roughly 1000 points. One of the most important measurements is assessing the effect of the movement of the turbomachinery base plate on the deformation changes of the machinery. Geodesy specialists are processing maps of the entire nuclear power plant on a scale of 1:500. (M.D.). 10 refs
