Description
Experimental demonstration of the physical mechanism of multi-electron-beam Cherenkov free-electron laser has been carried out at first time. electron beams of total current 280 KA at 500 KV were introduced into a multi-dielectric cavity and a 1.7 MW output power at 33.4 GHz with efficiency of about 1.2% was generated
