Neutrino astrophysics with the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory
Description
The field of neutrino astronomy is developing rapidly with the construction of new large detectors in underground laboratories. The emphasis in this paper is on the contributions that can be made by the 1000 tonne heavy water Cherenkov detector under construction at the Sudbury neutrino observatory. (orig.)
