Vortex dynamics of superfluid helium films on spherical surfaces
Description
The vortex dynamics of helium films based on the Kosterlitz-Thouless theory of superfluid phase transition is generalized to the case of spherical surface and is applied to reinterpret the torsional oscillator experiments on Vycor glass by D. J. Bishop et al. [Phys. Rev. B 24, 5047 (1981)]
