Description
In this paper, a re-expansion method was employed to calculate the electric potential distribution of two Al2O3 particles. Then, the distortion of electric field in the vicinity of the particle chain during its formation was researched with theoretical explanation and numerical value calculation. The results show that the electric potential distribution of the polarized particles was similar to that of dipoles. Also, the electric field strength which increased at the particle binding sites promoted the formation of particle chains.
