The second International Conference on Calorimetry in High Energy Physics, held from 14-18 October on the island of Capri, included a workshop dedicated to the important problem of calorimetry for experiments at future big proton colliders - the LHC at CERN and the Superconducting Supercollider (SSC) in the USA
