Description

KTA 2201.5 is for nuclear power plants equipped with LWRs. The safety guide contains specifications for seismic instrumentation, based on acceleration measurement. The requirements to be met by the instruments are defined, so as to ensure compliance with the licensing data and proper testing during in-service inspections. Another purpose pursued is collection of data during operation, so that recorded data can be used as input for numerical controls. (Orig./DG)

KTA 2201.5 ist auf Kernkraftwerke mit Leichtwasserreaktoren anzuwenden. Es wird eine seismische Instrumentierung angegeben, deren Messprinzip auf der Beschleunigungsmessung beruht. Sie gibt an, welche Anforderungen an eine seismische Instrumentierung zu stellen sind, damit festgestellt werden kann, ob die dem Inspektionsniveau zugrundegelegten Bemessungsgroessen ueberschritten worden sind. Andererseits ist es moeglich, durch die Registrierung von Erdbebenzeitverlaeufen Eingabewerte fuer eine rechnerische Nachpruefung zu gewinnen. (orig.)
