Hall effect and thermoelectric power in Co/Cu(Mn) multilayers
Creators
Description
The Hall effect and thermoelectric power have been investigated in Co/Cu(Mn) multilayers where the temperature dependent switching between antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic coupling across a critical temperature (Tb) is observed. The field dependence of extraordinary Hall resistivity and thermoelectric power follows the scaling relations reported for ordinary GMR systems, suggesting that the characteristics of the conduction electron scattering responsible for the GMR in Co/Cu(Mn) multilayers below Tb are basically the same as those in the ordinary GMR systems
