Description
An arm is delivered from a frame of an inspection device inserted from a fuel insertion lattice of an upper lattice plate for inspection of welded portion of fuel support metals. An ultrasonic probe, a potential difference detection terminal, etc. are attached to a sensor, which is scanned or moved along the arm, to enable volume inspection, sizing for cracks etc. The welded portion between reactor core support plates and peripheral fuel support metals is evaluated, in addition, fallen materials can be recovered thereby enabling to confirm integrity.
