Second order aberrations in the transport of bunched beams
Creators

Description
The second order aberrations for the bunch length of a bunched beam are derived. These terms can be quite important for systems where extremely short beam bunches are required and/or where long beam transport systems are used. The second order terms are given as matrix elements in a form that can easily be incorporated into the SLAC Beam Transport Program. (orig.)
