A Monte Carlo study on net charge fluctuations in p(pbar)-p collisions
Description
The charge fluctuations are believed to be sensitive to the other effects too, like number of resonances at chemical freeze out. There are two kinds of measures for the charge fluctuations, the first one is the net charge fluctuations, the direct measure of which is variance and the multiplicity of positively charged particles in an event. The other measure is charge ratio. In the present investigation simulations have been carried out to examine the net charge fluctuations in terms of the above measures
