Actinide aqueous waste treatment studies using ferrites
- 1. Rockwell International Corp., Golden, CO (USA). Rocky Flats Plant
Description
A brief overview is given of the present Rocky Flats waste treatment process and of ferrites. Experimental investigations in testing ferrites for waste treatment are described. Actinide removal properties of ferrites are given, as well as results of chemical interference studies. Preliminary work on immobilization studies of ferrite solids is also presented. (Auth.)
