Local structure of the glass and crystal Si-Te and Ge-Te alloys studied by Moessbauer spectroscopy

Description

It was shown by means of the 125Te, 129m Te(129J) and 119Sn Moessbauer spectroscopy that the amorphization of the Si20Te80 alloys was accompanied by the appearance of the 'degenerate' state of the tellurium atoms and by the changing of valence state of silicon and germanium atoms.
