The unitarity constraint in multiple production as a possible origin of the leading-particle effect

A recent analysis of small p perpendicular to inclusive hadronic data is interpreted by arguing that the possible origin of the leading particles found in high energy hadronic reactions may reside in the multiparticle unitarity constraint. (author)
