Chloric lixiviation of the Itataia ore, Brazil
Description
Aiming to develop an uranium extraction process from phosphates rocks of the Itataia region, Brazil, the lixiviation of this ore with chloric acid was studied. The ore solubilization for several concentrations of chloric acid is presented. During the lixiviation the agitation time and mass/volume ratio were fixed. (M.C.K.)

Com o objetivo de desenvolver um processo de extracao de uranio a partir de minerio de fosfato da regiao de Itataia, estudou-se a lixiviacao desse minerio com acido cloridrico. Apresenta-se a solubilizacao do minerio para varias concentracoes de acido cloridrico. Durante a lixiviacao, foram mantidos fixos o tempo de agitacao e a relacao massa/volume. (Autor)Files
